Description: Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in many cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. It is particularly celebrated in Mexico, where it attains the quality of a National Holiday, and all banks are closed. The celebration takes place on November 1–2, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' Day, November 1, and All Souls' Day, November 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts.
Game walkthrough: Even though this game has the same name as the Mexican holiday, it is not as similar as you might think. There is no celebration, no honoring the deceased with their favorite foods and beverages and visiting their graves. Just the contrary; in this game, the dead are visiting you. And they are not bringing you gifts; here they are trying to kill you. So, of course, you will not sit with your arms crossed and wait for them to do their job; you will fight back. You are armed with a bow and an arrow and all you need to do is aim at them and kill them. You will probably need to shoot at one skeleton twice so that you destroy him, but need not to worry, you have unlimited amount of arrows. Once you’ve earned enough money, you can visit the shop equip yourself with more weapons. Remember, you will need to survive 13 days of the dead, so you will need all the weapons you can get.
Game instructions: To aim, you will need to use your mouse, and to shoot just click on the left mouse button. On the top of your screen you will see the amount of different ammo you’ve got as well as the state of the wall that is protecting your village. At the start it will be 500, but if you allow the dead to come close to it and start destroying it, this number will decrease and if by any chance comes to 0, the village will belong to them and you will be killed. So be very careful!
